Litchfield Vaults Re-opens
Whilst walking through town today to do some post-Christmas shopping I happened to notice that the Litchfield Vaults had re-opened. Although I didn't have time to pop inside (not even for a quick pint), rest assured that the HM Pub Guide Team will visit it shortly and reassess the pub. However, if anyone out there has already had a drink in there then let us know what you think of the place.

Having lanquished for the last few years as a faded flower, invariably overseen by a impressive numbers of bar flys on the wrong side of the counter, this pub is back under private ownership and is a lovely spot for a beer and snack. Such a great and handy position for shopping and people watching if you get a seat by the front windows overlooking Church Street.
Superb steak sandwich, good beer, revamped and rather Tardis-like beer garden/smoking area at back and extremely pleasant landlord. Top marks! Give it a go. Well actually maybe not, I'd rather keep it just for meeeeeeself!
